PWC Pantomime presents: Sleeping Beauty

Thurs 7 - Sat 9 Feb 2019 | 7pm Thurs, 11am & 3pm Fri, 1pm Sat
  • Sleeping Beauty is the 33rd annual charitable pantomime production presented by PwC as part of its Community Affairs Programme.

PwC’s aim is to bring joy to children from inner city schools and charities, giving away around 8,000 free tickets each year to children from local areas – often the only chance those children get to experience the magic of live theatre. All revenues from additional ticket sales help to contribute towards that experience.

This year’s production of Sleeping Beauty sees Princess Aurora put under a wicked spell by Insomnia, the most evil fairy in all the land. Come along to cheer, sing, hiss and boo as Prince George and his faithful sidekick, Derek the Dragon, battle evil spirits as they come to the rescue. But the course of true love never runs smooth. Will our Prince save the day? Or will our Princess have to take matters into her own hands?

Sleeping Beauty is brought to life by around 200 PwC staff and pantomime alumni, both on stage and behind the scenes. Every year, the audience is amazed that this is an amateur dramatic group. Come along and see for yourself!
