We are thrilled to announce that after many sleepless nights, we’ve been granted the full amount of funding that we applied for from the Government and Arts Council England’s #CultureRecoveryFund.

The money we’ve been granted will help us develop a business plan for our future in this new landscape, continue with work making our venue Covid-Secure for staff and audiences, secure the jobs of our dedicated team and ensure that we can still be here for our local community and #HereForCulture.

News of this funding isn’t a happy ending for us, it’s just the beginning – we now begin crucial work, preparing for the future. We will continue to thrive, only with your support, which has allowed us to make it this far.

Looking ahead, we know you are waiting to hear what will happen with this year’s Pantomime; Sleeping Beauty. Now that we have received the outcome of our funding application, we will be able to confirm our decision regarding our Panto this week.

We will continue to update you with our plans for the future, how you can support us and how we can be here for you. We’re proud to be a ‘theatre for everyone’ with a rich history and hopefully a bright future – thanks for standing with us and please continue to be part of our journey going forward.
