Unfortunately, WEOS Musical Productions presents: The Sound of Music (originally rescheduled to Tuesday 13th – Saturday 17th April 2021) has been cancelled.

Statement from WEOS: “It is with a heavy heart that the WEOS Board announce the cancellation of The Sound of Music 2021. In a time of unprecedented loss for the theatre industry, The Sound of Music is unfortunately one of many shows that has had to be cancelled.”

If booked through Eventim (online or via their booking hotline) your refund will be processed automatically. If purchased directly with the theatre we will be in touch to process your refund. Please be patient as we work through the many refunds with limited staff.

WEOS Musical Productions, the company behind previous musical successes My Fair Lady and Top Hat, return to the Tyne Theatre stage in 2020 with The Sound of Music.

A classic musical and a love story for the ages; Rodgers and Hammerstein’s score soars with classic songs such as My Favourite Things, Do-Re-Mi, Climb Every Mountain, Edelweiss and more, in this thrilling and inspirational musical.
