Tickets purchased via the website or booking line are subject to Eventim’s purchase policy.

There are no fees when booking tickets at the Tyne Theatre Box Office in person.

Tickets purchased by any other agent will be subject to the agent’s terms and conditions. The Tyne Theatre cannot accept responsibility for tickets purchased via an agency or third party. Charges and allocations may vary.

By purchasing tickets through the Tyne Theatre you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Please check your tickets as mistakes cannot always be rectified. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ensure tickets are the correct date and time. We cannot guarantee we can provide seats if you arrive for an incorrect performance.

Tickets are offered for sale subject to availability. All prices quoted in print and online are subject to change at any time. Discounts and offers may not be combined with other offers or discounts and can be withdrawn at any time.

The Tyne Theatre reserves the right to cancel tickets that it reasonably suspects to have been made fraudulently.

At the discretion of the box office, lost tickets will be replaced up to 2 hours before the start of the event subject to proof of purchase.
Tickets are sold subject to the management’s right to alter or vary the programme sure to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.

The management and/ or event promoter reserve the right to cancel, postpone or amend the content of any performance without prior notice, as a result of illness, health & safety factors or the needs of local authority.

In the event of a cancellation or postponement in advance, we will endeavour but cannot guarantee to inform ticket holders as quickly as possible using the details provided at the time of booking either by email, post or by phone.

In the event of a cancellation, the face value of the ticket will be refunded and the Tyne Theatre will not be liable to pay any compensation to any ticket holder.
In the event of a postponement the existing tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date, if unable to attend, a refund will be given up to a date prior to the event stated by the theatre or event promoter.

Tickets cannot be exchanged or monies refunded under any circumstances other than those outlined above.

If a ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain, it may be voided and the holder may be refused entry to or required to exit the theatre.
Ticket holders consent to filming, photography and sound recording as members of the audience. The Theatre will endeavour to inform patrons by signage in the venue or an announcement prior to the event starting.

Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per person. The Tyne Theatre reserves the right to cancel any tickets purchased in excess of this number.
All the details in the Tyne Theatre Brochures, website or other communications are correct, errors and omissions excepted at the time of publishing but the Theatre reserves the right to alter the programme and other details without prior notice.

Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult for the duration of the event, defined as someone 16+. Unless photographic proof of age is provided, staff will make a judgement on visual appearance.

Children under 2 years of age do not need a ticket providing they do not need a seat, unless stated otherwise. However we strongly recommend they do not attend concerts or any music events due to sound levels. Any child requiring their own seat must have a paid ticket. For certain events, children may not be permitted at all.

Should children become restless and cause a disturbance, the parent/ guardian will be requested to leave the auditorium with the child. Baby changing facilities are available in the stalls bar toilets.

Every effort will be made to admit latecomers at a suitable break in the performance but admission cannot always be guaranteed. Late comers and non-attenders will not be offered refunds, regardless of the reason for the late arrival or non-attendance.

The Tyne Theatre reserves the right to ask anyone causing a disturbance, to other patrons or staff, to leave the theatre.
The Tyne Theatre cannot accept responsibility for any personal property.

The Tyne Theatre is a no smoking venue. Smoking (including the use of electronic cigarettes) is not permitted.
